The new director general will be responsible for the implementation of merging the agencies, interlinking their agendas, centralising services and eliminating duplicities Single institution Optimisation of services for entrepreneurs as concerns exports, investment incentives and promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in one place Reduction in the number of managers and reduction in the staff headcount of the merged CzechInvest and CzechTrade agencies by 25% vis-à-vis the original staff headcount of both agencies THE 1 ST YEAR OF THE NEW EXPORT STRATEGY Minister of Industry and Trade

Martin Kuba ministr průmyslu a obchodu 1 ROK NOVÉ EXPORT STRATEGY 14 IMPLEMENTATION OF KEY STRATEGIES IN 2013 Merger of CzechTrade and CzechInvest Owing to the streamlined performance of state administration, use of synergies and reinforcement of services for entrepreneurs, the MIT will support the competitiveness of the Czech economy to a much greater extent. Provision of comprehensive services for businesses in promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, investment and exports in one place, review of the agendas in place, preservation of quality and successful services of both agencies, preparation of new synergistic services. There will be a close interlink with the entire merged network of MIT foreign representations – up to 70 representations to promote exports as well as investment inflow to the Czech economy are envisaged for the future.
