High School 101: New Changes Final Grade – A final examination must be administered. The first semester grade and second semester grade will each contribute 40% to the final grade; the final exam will contribute 20% to the final grade

High School 101: Exam Exemptions Final exams may be exempted with the exception of courses for which a South Carolina End of Course (EOC),Quality Core Course, Project Lead the Way, or Advanced Placement (AP) exam is required 85 NO Seniors with an average of 85 or above who have NO unexcused absences may be exempted from a regular, classroom exam

High School 101: Senior Exams Exams in a block class will be given in the first block period Seniors who are exempt from an exam and on campus, must attend class In a mixed grade class (combined with upper and lower classmen), only the seniors are allowed to take an exam during senior exam days

High School 101: Exam Procedures Every class is required to have an exam Attendance will be taken every day Students are to remain during the entire exam period. Students will not be released from class unless they have written permission from an administrator Sign-In/Sign-Out rules apply just as every other day Students signing out on exam days will only be able to sign back in with a doctor’s note, court note or administrator approval

High School 101: Exam Procedures Students are not allowed to leave campus during lunch periods Administrative permission is required to make up a missed exam or to change an exam date/time An exam will not be changed unless there is extreme hardship or an extenuating circumstance o Leaving town for an extended weekend, or leaving on a family trip is not a hardship circumstance
