Embedding the language Start each day with asking Come stai? Around the class. Create Come stai? Cards for pupils with printed off miniature copies of the pictures, ask Come stai? at the start of the day, after break, after lunch and ask pupils to choose their answer and say it to a partner or around the class. Attivita` – Come stai? Class will draw 5 circles in their jotter or have five circles cut out in front of them. They will ask the teacher the question – Come stai? and the teacher will respond with a feeling. The pupils should then choose a face which matches what the teacher has said to draw as a smiley onto their circle.
