Overview of Alignment System

FSI solution: implementation Retrolefrector ball 1” FSI head (TIP-TILT adjustmnent needed) To provide minimum redundancy 3 targets per one flange of crab cavity needed (12 in total) Tip-Tilt adjustment for FSI heads have to be implemented Use of 1” retroreflectors preferred

BCAM solution: how it works

BCAM solution: implementation proposal Target „finger” - 2 reflective spheres separated by double ceramic black spheres 4 target „fingers” on each side of cavity min 0.8m

BCAM solution: implementation proposal To provide stablity of reference measurement frame – the HBCAM cameras support shall be stable in the time Is it possible to create separated tables fastened to the floor What is the stability of cryostat (vacuum forces) in case if the tables will be fastened to cryostat Shielding against reflexion of light needed Tube covering sight of view to prevent reflections of HBCAM laser from other than targets shining components HIE Isolde solution – alu rectangular tube, black oxidized, actively cooled Avoid using rounded shielding profiles
