  p.14 Jobs, Volunteering, Working  p.50 Halloween Showstopper  p.196 Early Decision/College Acceptance/SAT  p Scoreboards  In addition, my role as Technology Manager entailed the following: Assist Photography Editor with aspects of digital media Oversee proper computer usage Manage basic IT inquiries Maintain a clean workstation for all areas Develop a thorough understanding of yearbook-software List of Contributions

  Aside from the new theme, nothing really changed. The hardware and software stayed the same so I didn’t have to learn any new skills.  Working with underclassmen and less-experienced staff was definitely a new experience as I did have to teach a little. What I’ve Learned

  Going to Division 1 university next year, I’m going to take my photography with me. I hope to work with the newspaper there and be able to photograph all of the various sports teams. What I wanted to learn was more practical skills for the future. Photojournalism as a class taught me a rather uniform method of production. What I want to learn

  In hindsight, the 3 years of Yearbook have been rather uniform. It seems to always be the same process: deadline, deadline, deadline. Although, I guess there isn’t really any other way to do it, the class can feel repetitive. In hindsight

  The first slide I worked on was arguably the best. We received permission to transform the right side of the page into a mini-showstopper to feature the Nudist Buddhist Café. It was fun to work on because I was able to go to an opening and photograph the nonprofit.

  I liked working on this spread because it was comical to feature everyone dressed up in Halloween costumes.

  I thoroughly enjoyed this spread. Hearing very early on where my peers were going to college was uplifting. Interviewing the seniors and learning how they thought was also interesting.

  Honestly, scoreboards was the most boring spread I’ve worked on in my 3 years with the staff. Having to type the names and scores in a specific typeface and manner was monotonous to say the least.

  Photographing the Nudist Buddhist Café was a very enjoyable experience. Luke was sure to notify me of anything happening and made me feel more than welcome.
