#3 What God Requires, He Supplies Why would God ask a father to sacrifice his own son? Philippians 4:19 “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Genesis 22:2 “Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love.”

#3 What God Requires, He Supplies Somehow Abraham looked beyond the immediate circumstance and found faith to believe Genesis 22:5 “Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you” Hebrews 11:19 “Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.”

Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of oil?” Hebrews 10:8 “‘Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them’– though they were offered in accordance with the law.”

Grace The whole gospel in three simple statements: God said... “Do this” We said... “We can’t” God said... “Alright I’ll do it for you”

God knew we were His enemies so He sent Christ to make us His friends. God knew we were like orphans so He sent Christ to bring us into his family. God knew we had no hope so He sent Christ to give us a home in heaven. God knew we were enslaved in sin so He sent Christ to set us free. God knew we were afraid to die so He sent Christ to die and then raised him from the dead. God knew we had nothing so He gave us all things in Christ.

But Christ, the heav’nly Lamb, Takes all our sins away; A sacrifice of nobler name And richer blood than they. – Isaac Watts Micah 7:18 “Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.”

Prayer of Salvation Heavenly Father, save me from my sins. I believe that Jesus died and shed His blood for me and He rose again so I could live for You.
