Cortes was born in Medellin Spain 1485.

Cortes saw Tenochtitlan and was surprised at what he saw.

In 1521 Cortes and his army took control of Tenochtitlan.

After a few months the Aztec fot back and won but during the fight Moctezuma died

But later Cortes and his army came back.

Cortes and his army blocked all of the exits so the Aztec could not get out

Some of the Aztec died from hunger and some from dieses.

They blocked the entrance for 75 days.

The Aztec finally gave up Cortes and his army destroyed every thing and he burnt there books and Cortes now won.
