The Past Simple tense is using for describe actions that you did in the past: I drawed a dog in my notebook. Yo dibujé un perro en mi libreta He took the plane to Madrid. Both in the interrogative form as in the negative form we used like auxiliary DID which is the past of the verb ‘’TO DO’’ and should be complete with the infinitive of the main verb. In negative form it is posible to use the contradted form (DID NOT or DIDN’T). Also, it is posible to show the instant where the action is done to show time more accurate: They saw the movie last night We went to London yesterday Ellos vieron la película anoche Nosotros fuimos a Londres ayer
