Venezuela is slightly larger than two times the size of California. Venezuela Claims to be a Federal Republic; however, it is more Socialistic. Spanish is the official language of Venezuela. Venezuela consists of twenty-three states. Venezuela has a tropical, hot, humid climate, and is only twelve degrees from the equator.

In Religion, Venezuela is 96% Roman Catholic, 2% Protestant, and 2% other. The Population of Venezuela is 25,375,281. Groups of People that live in Venezuela include Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Arab, German, African, as well as indigenous people. 47 percent of the Population is below the poverty line.

Puerto Ordaz is a fairly modern city, with a population of 1.5 million people.
