Put on the whole armor…. We pray at all times, because the war is constant and battles may strike at any moment. We use every form of prayer: adoration, confession, intercession, thanksgiving, etc. We implore God with specific requests (petition) for our battles.

It keeps us alert of Satan’s darts Prayer is the means of putting the armor on and keeping it on (perseverance). Through prayer the Spirit informs us when we need to put on the helmet, take up the Shield of Faith and the Sword for Battle.

But, pray especially that they boldly take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.

Our Greatest Spiritual Weapon Is Prayer
