The Adventures of Flat Haven

My SPECIAL visitor!!! I was so excited Flat Haven came to see me. We will have many wonderful adventures together!!

Flat Haven on the way to church!!

Flat Haven wanted to play with Little Anthony. This is Anthony’s mommy, Faith.

Flat Haven ran into Julius in the hallway before Sunday School.

Flat Haven went to Sunday School with Riley and Cheyenne! He loved learning about Jesus!

Flat Haven came to my FIRST GRADE classroom at L. C. Kerr School and met Mrs. Tena and Alondra. Daniysha is in the background.

Mr. Bobby asked Flat Haven to help him take out the trash. He also helped sweep all the floors in the first grade hall. Flat Haven was very hungry after all that work!

While in the lunch line, Flat Haven gave Mrs. Kathy his lunch number. She thought he was a new student!

Everyone wanted to sit with Flat Haven. He decided to sit with Ethan and Jillian. Flat Haven ate everything on his plate!

Flat Haven heard LOUD noises coming from across the hall. This made him very CURIOUS, so he decided that he would visit the “monkey” room. He was a little scared….

…and this is what he found!!!

Flat Haven decided to hang out with Mrs. Moore’s class for the rest of the day. He went outside for recess with them and got hurt, but Nurse Renee fixed him right up!

Flat Haven went with me to The Center for Health & Wellness to help me teach exercise class!

Mrs. Karen was excited to have someone new in class!

Everyone was so happy to see Flat Haven!

Allison and Mindi were showing Flat Haven how to use weights before class started.

Riley was nervous about going to the orthodontist, so Flat Haven went with him.

Flat Haven stayed with Riley the whole time….

Flat Haven decided that getting braces was not so bad after all.

Flat Haven went to New Bern, NC to Lyle’s soccer tournament.

While in New Bern, he met a BEAR!!

He also caught a ride with the city police so he could learn about safety.

Lyle also took Flat Haven to his cub scout meeting. He LOVED hanging out with those kind of BEARS better!!

Flat Haven enjoyed learning more about the bible. The bear cub scouts were earning their “God and Me” badge.

Ashton and Lyle invited Flat Haven at their “Blue and Gold” banquet.

While at the banquet, Flat Haven ate with Amaya and Avery. The chicken was delicious!!

Flat Haven watched as Lyle got an award for being a cub scout.

Mrs. Hatch was surprised to see Flat Haven at Riley’s piano lesson.

He loved hearing Riley play piano!

Flat Haven told Mrs. Hatch that he wanted to learn how to play piano like Riley.

So Riley helped Flat Haven as Mrs. Hatch gave him his FIRST piano lesson! Flat Haven was a natural!

Dear Mrs. Jacobs’ class, I loved have Flat Haven!! Everyone enjoyed meeting him. I hope that you have a great summer!! Be sure to read every day and have lots of fun! Mrs. Brewington
