“Transforming our world into fully devoted followers of Jesus to the fame of God.”

TO THE FAME OF GOD.

1 Corinthians 10:31- “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”

WHAT IS THE FAME OF GOD?

The glory of God is the beauty of His Spirit that emanates from His inner character

and also His greatness that radiates from all that He does.

THE BIBLE TEACHES THAT GOD CREATED US FOR HIS GLORY.

Romans 11:36-“For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever.”

Isaiah 43:7-“Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth

everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made."

I Corinthians 6:20: “For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body AND in your spirit, which are God’s”

OUR MOTIVATION

Philippians 3:7-9-“But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything

a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things.

I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law,

but that which is through faith in Christ--the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith.”

Glorify God in our physical life.

Glorify God in our spiritual life.

“Our chief purpose in life is to glorify God by enjoying Him forever.”

THERE ARE AT LEAST 3 BENEFITS OF THIS TYPE LIFE.

Sin is not as enticing.

It does away with self-pity.

It stifles boasting.
