Northeastern Offensive Line Playbook “We are offensive linemen, part of the o-line. Five guys working as a unit within the football team to establish the tempo and demeanor of the game. Our job description doesn't sound fun, interesting or flashy, nor should it. Those who know football know the game is won or lost in the trenches, along the line. We start the play and if we are good we finish it. We are the O-Line, we set the examples, we "LEAD FROM THE FRONT.”

Northeastern Football Offensive Line Stance Make sure you have 2 foot splits between linemen. Feet should be shoulder width apart and toes pointed straight. Stagger the right foot if your on the right side of the center. Stagger left foot if you are on the left side of the center. Lean slightly forward placing all of your finger pads on the ground. Your other hand, will have the palm flat against the mid-thigh, elbow up Heels should be slightly off the ground. No flat feet! Your back should be flat and head is up.

Northeastern Football Before the Play -Sprint out of the huddle to the LOS. Identify your job according to the play called. -Clearly communicate and echo your calls on the LOS with your fellow linemen. ABSOLUTELY NO CONFUSION!
