This week we discussed…

We discuss all matters brought to the meeting. Each class representative reads out the post- its you have written. We decide whether we should action it (do something about it or not) as a group.

KS2 toilets are really getting old, can we get them decorated soon? Mrs Giltinan spoke to the Governors and the toilets are to be decorated after Easter-Hooray!

Could we have a climbing frame? You have asked this questions a few times. At last we can give you good news! We are having the quiet playground astro-turfed (not real grass) and as you already know we have new playtime activities with lots more to do.

No ICT in Y3 /4 Council reps spoke to Mrs O’Doherty, who said Y 3/4 teachers haven’t had time to plan it in to the children's busy schedule. However, Mrs O’Doherty spoke to Mr Haskell and he said they will be having this, this term.

What school trips are planned ? Madison and Christa asked the teachers what was planned Y R are to visit a BUTTERFLY FARM. Y1/2-Miss Loader is looking into a summer trip but you will be having a Circus Skills class soon (no lions!) Y3 /4 are visiting Queen Elizabeth Country Park.

Y6 Summer School Trip (to be decided, again very exciting!) and next month they go to Little Canada on the Isle of Wight. Y5/6 In the summer a fun sports trip! (they wouldn’t tell us as they didn’t want to ruin the surprise!) Y5 swimming starts after Easter.

There is no Trail Blazing Rose looked in to this and actually it is going on. There was a visit to the Park in January and when it gets warmer there will be a lot more.

THANK YOU The World Gifts we have bought are real examples of CAFOD’s work, but the gifts also mean much, much more to the people we have sent them to. Each class will a receive a gift card with the items you have asked us to buy from the donated money. Perhaps you can place on your class prayer table, this way it will remind you to say a little prayer for people who live in poverty.

THURSDAY 13 TH MARCH AT 1.30PM IN THE DRAMA ROOM Please do not be late!

YOU ALL HAVE A VOICE! IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY THEN STICK A POST-IT ON YOUR CLASS COUNCIL MEMO BOARD. IT MIGHT MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

We are one big happy family.
