Usually bread or breadrolls with ham chees, tomatoes, cucumber, sometimes eggs. To drink there is always tea or coffee. What do Poles eat for breakfast?

Pączek ( doughnut) Drożdżówka con papavero o ricotta

Obiad- Il pranzo 1st course is usually a soup. We have many different kinds of soup, eg. chicken soup, funghi, pomodori, cetrioli, barszcz czerwony ( ràbano soup), żurek - made of rye-flour and served with potatoes, diced sausages and hard-boiled eggs.

2nd course- meat with potatoes Perhaps the best-known Polish culinary classic is kotlet schabowy - fried pork chop coated in breadcrumbs and served with potatoes and cabbage. Other popular pork dishes include roasted or boiled golonka (pork knuckle). We also adore kotlety mielone made of vale meat.

The Polish cuisine is noted for superb dumplings, especially pierogi (tortelli), which have variety of fillings (eg. di cavolo e funghi porcini). Other popular vegetarian dishes include naleśniki (pancakes), pyzy (steamed dumplings made from potato flour) and gołąbki (piccioncini, involtini di cavolo)

Deserts Sernik (cheesecake) is one of the most popular desserts in Poland. It is a cake made primarily of twaróg(Quark), a type of fresh cheese. Also popy seed cake (makowiec) is one of the favourite as well as babka piaskowa (sand cake) and famous “Kremówki" del Papa.

Beverages- NAPOJE In Poland we don’t drink only water with every meal. We usually have a kompot - a non-alcoholic beverage made of boiled fruit, served hot or cold or succo di frutta.

Pablo Picasso once said "The three most astonishing things in the past half-century were the blues, cubism, and Polish vodka." Poland is also very famous for its alcoholic drinks which include best quality vodka and beer
