He is active in the Columbus downtown special improvement district that supports the Faith mission which is a shelter for the homeless, also he supports the Columbus outreach program which aids in soup kitchens and finding jobs for the homeless.

Question and Answer Why do people call The GoodWill “The GoodWill?” Because the name fits purpose be hind collectry donaterg, distoibuting items collected from those who show kindness, caring and publice humanity to these in need. Why do people donate thing to The Good Will? Because they do not want to just throw away good items like cloths, furniture, house hold items, food, even vehicles that other that are less fortunate or have lost thing in a fire could use.

Question and Answer part 2 What do people do to help The GoodWill? They can donate money or volunteer then time to assert in purchasing the item or putnbutaicn of the items or even serve food. When did they start The GoodWill? In 1900 in Boston, Massachusetts. Why did they start The GoodWill? To help keep those in need from possible ending up homeless, going hungry or poring without necessary items need to live or survive.

The Interview Timothy: Dad can I ask you some questions about the Goodwill store? Dad: Yes you can Timothy. Timothy: Why was the Goodwill store started? Dad: The Goodwill store was started to help the less fortunate get clothing materials and many things that they needed.

The interview Cont. Timothy: Do you know when the Goodwill was started? Dad: No, I do not know when exactly, but I do know it has been around for at least 100 years. Timothy: Do you think the Goodwill has served it’s purpose over time and helped the economy. Dad: Yes, I do. The Goodwill has helped thousands of people over time especially when the economy has fell on hard times.

The Interview Cont. Timothy: Do you think if Goodwill was never started over 100 years, the economy and country would be in better or worse shape? Dad: I think this economy would be far worse then ever. The goodwill has been there for a longtime and will never go anywhere because of what they do. Timothy: Does the Goodwill profit from any sales they make? Dad: No, they do not profit from anything. They are a non-profitable organization which take all donations and any money made goes back into getting more stuff to help the community.

The final question Timothy: For my final question, do you think or has the Goodwill improved over the last 100 years or so, and if so how? Dad: Yes, the Goodwill has improved a lot in the past 100 years. They started off just selling and donating clothes. Now, the Goodwill has started selling, clothes, toys, used jewelry, cars, rv’s and boats. As well as other miscellaneous things. Timothy: Thank you Dad. Dad: Your welcome Interviewed by Timothy Glisan
