◦ District 4 th and 5 th grade Reading scores are above statewide scores. ◦ District 4 th grade Writing scores are also above the statewide scores. ◦ District 7 th grade Reading proficiency rates increased 45% over last year, compared to statewide increase of 7%.

 7 th grade Math proficiency rates increased by 24% over last year, compared to a statewide increase of 8%  10 th grade Science proficiency rates increased by 46% over last year, compared to a statewide increase of 14%
