Page 8 The distance from the nearest town, Sungai Siput is ±25 km. The road ends in Kampung Kenang and thereafter a dirt road serves the interiors of Kinta Forest Reserve leading to several ‘orang asli’ villages. A computer lab (E | Tube Studio) has been set up with 12 unit of computers for the benefit of the school children. Electricity, water and telephone connection is available. 100% of the pupils are Orang Asli children from the surrounding villages. Most of them are from poor family background with average income among them are far below the poverty line. They have very limited knowledge in English Language. Page 9 Target Group… Total number of students who will be involved in E | Tube Studio project : 132 students (21 students of each year – Year 1 to 6)

In 2010, E | Tube Studio Project was implemented in SK Kampung Kenang. The students have learned English language using the interactive E | Tube Studio Portal. Achievement in English subject in UPSR Exam 2010 : 5 students passed with one student scored ‘B’. This shows that the project has achieved the main objective in improving the UPSR result in terms of quantity and quality!
