Diagnosis: Deep fungal folliculitis (Majocchi's granuloma) Deep dermal folliculitis, perifollicular abscess and granulomatous inflammation with PAS positive fungal hyphae and yeasts within the hair follicles and the perifollicular inflammatory exudate.
