THE CURSE OF DONNIE BASEBALL  Yankees made World Series the year before he joined the team  Yankees never made it to the playoffs when he played

THE CURSE OF DONNIE BASEBALL  Yankees won the World Series in 1998, 1999 and 2000, after he retired  Came back as a hitting coach for the Yankees in 2004, never made it past first round of playoffs until 2007

THE CURSE OF DONNIE BASEBALL  Curse was lifted in 1996 and 2007 after he retired and when he left the team after coaching

OUR CONCLUSION  The team struggled when he was playing and when he coached  Might have played for himself not the team
