Personal Trivia Baseball Getting to know each other!

preparing: Each student must have four pieces of paper Please label one paper “Single” Please Label one paper “double” Please label one paper “triple” Please label one paper “Homerun” Do not put your name on any of the papers!

Creating our facts: Each student must create a fact about themselves for each paper The “single” fact will be the easiest The “double” fact will be a bit harder.. The “triple” fact will be even harder yet.. The “homerun” fact will be the hardest… Please write your facts on the correct paper to match the difficulty level!

Two teams: We need to divide the class into two teams! Once we have two teams, each team must come up with an appropriate team name

Finished Facts: Once we have made our teams, we need four volunteers to help their team: We need one volunteer to collect all of the “single” sheets We need one volunteer to collect all of the “double” sheets We need one volunteer to collect all of the “triple” sheets We need one volunteer to collect all of the “homerun” sheets The students who collected the sheets will then bring them to either mr. mack or mr. schienbein

How the game works: The game is played according to standard baseball rules When a team is “batting” one player will step up and choose either “Single”, “Double”, “Triple”, or “Homerun” If the students identifies the correct person that the fact is about, he/she will then move to the base for whichever difficulty level they chose If the student guesses incorrectly, his team will receive an out 3 outs ends an inning and the next team will come up to “bat” The game continues on as standard baseball
