Babe was the first player to hit sixty homeruns in one season. Babe’s record for hitting sixty homeruns in one season stood for 34 years until it was broken by a man named Roger Maris.

Babes batting average was.342. Babe batted left handed. He also through left handed. The total amount of homeruns Babe hit in his career was 714. The total amount oh hits Babe got was 2,873!

In 1936 Babe was elected to be in the baseball Hall of Fame. In the year of 1998 the Sporting News ranked Babe number one in the top 100 players in baseball!

Off the field Babe was very famous for his charity work! B Babe was also known for his reckless lifestyle.
