History Italian cuisine - traditional cuisine of Italy, widespread and popular in the world, thanks to such dishes as pizza and spaghetti. It is very diverse and regionally, each region has its own traditional dishes. At the heart of Italian cuisine are historically a long tradition of cultural influences from the Romans, Greeks, Arabs and other peoples have ever inhabited Italy or influence the formation of its culture.

Italy - a country of eternal and young at the same time. Each province has its rich history, but as a unified state Italy there are not so many years. Northern regions of Italy has long been engaged in cattle breeding, so the main products that use the Italian landlady was milk, butter and meat.

A characteristic feature of Italian cuisine is the love of herbs. Basil and saffron Italians put into their meals more often than any other chef in the world. It is noteworthy that many Italian cooking traditions brought not professional chefs and even housewives, have spent many years at the stove, and the people in one way or another connected with architecture.
