 Not about watching every footstep, but about watching where you are going.  Who are you keeping in step with?  Can you see paths that would lead away from God?

 Be careful what you stand for.  Do people associate you with faith? Joy? Goodness?  Do you take a stand for the poor? For the lonely?  How do you make your stand?

 Reclining - who bends your ear? Are they encouraging? Are they positive?  What harm could mockers bring to you this year? People who put you down, who are negative about everyone.  Are you hopeful this year? Are you positive? Expectant? Delighted?

 What will you meditate on? Psalm 19:14  What is the song in your head?  What are you telling people about?  What makes you happy?

 What you soak up will define whether you flourish.  The wicked wither like chaff. Who are the wicked?  If you don’t put the roots down, you won’t build the strength.

What direction are you going this year? Are there pitfalls that you recognise ahead? What do you stand for? Is it positive? Does your stand influence others to life and faith and joy? What thoughts fill your heart most? Count up your meditations What can you do to make the meditation of your heart pleasing to God? What are you going to do to soak up the living water?
