Using LMI to Assist Job Seekers and Better Develop Your Workforce

What’s in it for me?  After participating in this breakout session, you will be able to:  Identify what LMI sources will be relevant to your job seekers  Identify the Four Step Aid to Assisting Job Seekers  Gain a deeper knowledge of working with LMI data types/sources for job seekers and workforce development  Establish a more targeted and simple approach for using LMI with your job seekers

The Four-Step Job Seeker Process 1. Identify your affected industry & job seeker 2. Study staffing patterns 3. Determine your job seekers transferable skill set 4. Narrow down the occupations within the industry that have similar skills for job seekers
