ONE NEVĂDA – Growing a Skilled, Diverse Workforce CEP – Business Model  Started in 1988  Employer Funded program collected quarterly in conjunction with the UI tax  Individuals must meet eligibility criteria for services  Provide job seekers with accelerated targeted training and re-employment assistance  Program flexibility to react and adjust to the real time employer and job seeker needs  Promote co-enrollment with WIA service providers 2

Worked as a seasonal/agricultural farm worker 2013  Completed CEP funded training VCT as an utility porter at Culinary Academy - Las Vegas 2/28/2014  Employed by Caesars Palace on 3/10/2014, $14/hr  Northern Nevada -“Right Skills Now” program 2013 CNC Programming  11 Individuals enrolled, 10 completed training & 9 Individuals are permanently employment $12-$15/hr 5
