One day in India Saturday 7 th May

Woke up in the morning…  Brushed teeth and de-wormed a herd of goats and sheep  Went to have breakfast found plastic (cow – named after plastic bag intestinal impaction) plays with banti (baby common langur)

Banti focus  Banti is 7 month old langur.  Can be real sweetheart sometimes but usually is a real devil.  She is very photogenic

Went to our spay-neuter program  Calberi - x-race horse rehabilitated in IPAN stops us for biscuits on the way out  Spayed 7 dogs

On the way back  Picked up a young peacock which was bitten by a dog  Cleaned his wounds and Bandaged the wing  The peacock is still hospitalized, feels better Banti is taking a ride on Bhavani. Another x-race horse in rehabilitation

Telephone call for a sick cow Vocalizing, salivating attacks it’s own calf… RABIES !!! Died the next day

Our dogs – Cesar, Johnny, Goonie (broken back in tamil), Kanyakumari and Sickly are taking afternoon nap.
