New, white vinyl tiles were coated with a soil that would be comparable to a general foot traffic soil and cleaned with diluted floor cleaner. Color readings were taken before and after performing the test. These lab tests were run numerous times and indicate that High Performance Neutral floor cleaner consistently outperformed competitive neutral cleaners by 18-22% on general foot traffic soils. High Performance Neutral Floor Cleaner Frequently Asked Questions  What is High Performance Neutral Floor Cleaner?  A daily, non-alkaline floor cleaner concentrate that delivers improved cleaning performance and is safe for use on all hard floor surfaces.  Is it a new or existing Ecolab formula?  This is a new formula designed to give customers better cleaning performance. The patent pending formula contains a powerful blend of surfactants and outperforms existing products on the market.  Why do we need a new neutral floor cleaner?  Customers consistently ask for a neutral cleaner that can provide better results and one that won’t streak or haze glossy floors. We’ve developed an ultra low foaming, rinse- free formula that effectively cleans foot traffic soil without leaving a film or haze.  Are the existing Ecolab neutral floor cleaners being rationalized?  Not immediately. We currently have multiple products and formulas, and plan to rationalize products in the future. 10

High Performance Neutral Floor Cleaner  What soil types is it designed to clean?  This product, like other neutral cleaners, is designed to clean general foot traffic soil and gets floors up to 22% cleaner than competitive neutral cleaners. A more aggressive cleaner is necessary for effectively cleaning greasy kitchen soils.  Which customer segments use neutral floor cleaners?  All customer segments use neutral cleaners. Customers like neutral cleaners since they are safe for use on all flooring types including finished floors. Restaurants typically use a neutral cleaner to clean floors in the front of the house and use a more aggressive cleaner in the back of the house.  Can it be used in an automatic scrubbing machine?  Yes. The new formula is ultra low foaming which means it will improve auto scrubber efficiency by reducing the number of times the recovery tank needs to be emptied. The product may also be used in a mop bucket. 11

High Performance Neutral Floor Cleaner  Is this product Green Seal™ Certified?  Green Seal™ (GS-37) certification is pending which means we are in the process of submitting all necessary information to Green Seal. The certification process can take up to nine months.  How does the product smell?  This product contains the same fragrance as MAXX Dual Action Floor Cleaner (Bright Speed). The fresh and clean fragrance enhances the user experience.  What are the recommended dilution rates?  For the 2.5 gallon, 2/2 liter, and 6/64 ounce (self dosing bottle) pack sizes, the recommended dilution range is oz/gallon of water. For the 2/1.3 liter pack size, the recommended dilution range is oz/gallon of water.  If I convert an existing Ecolab neutral cleaner customer, will I need to change the dispenser tips?  See the recommended tip chart. If you have a customer using QC 31 at 0.25 oz/gallon, a tip change is required to maintain the 0.25 oz/gallon dilution. 12
