Caste system – is the Hindu practice of social separation of individuals based on birth into a certain working class

1. Brahmins were the highest class priests, teachers, and intellectuals only class allowed to be literate 2. Kshatriyas were warrior / noble class 3. Vaisyas merchants or traders 4. Sudras were the farmers and laborers
