American and Italian fashion brands are very different but also alike in many ways. In this power point we will describe the differences and similarities of the many fashion brands of these two country's.
American Fashion “Moda Americana” American brands are usually affordable, we see them listed in television, billboards, magazines, and newspapers. Teenagers love shopping for the latest styles, and trends. The popular brands, have logos to go with them. i.e. Coach, Levi’s, and Vans. Corrected: : A mia madre piacciono le borse Coach : A me ei miei amici piace Vans
Some American brands are… Vans: Around 30 to 40 dollars. la scarpa è nera Levi’s: Around $50 to $60 i pantaloni sono blu Coach Around $90 to $400 Ia borsa è grande
The American brands listed above are affordable and can be worn for casual events, or going out on the town. corrected: la maggior parte di questi marchi sono di fantasia
Some Italian brands are… Gucci $1,000 to $2,000 Versace $1,000 to $3,000 i pantaloni sono di fantasia Ferragamo $300 to $500 le scarpe sono di colori diversi
Italian brands are very expensive and fancy. Most brands are not something you would wear casually in America, because of their price. corrected: la maggior parte di questi marchi sono di fantasia
In conclusion… Italian brands are usually trendier and more expensive, than American brands. Both have casual wear, but American do not dress as stylish as Italians. Levi’s are sporty, and Versace is fancy. Vans casual, and Ferragamo dressier. A Coach bag is affordable as oppose to a Gucci bag, which is more expensive. The sizing of clothes are different in Italy compared to America, see next slide. I prefer American styles, because I'm more casual. If I were to get ice cream with my friends I would wear Levi's and Vans. If Italian kids went to go get ice cream they might wear Versace, and Ferragamo
