HOW WINSTON CHURCHILL BECAME THE MAN WHO WON THE WAR?

As a boy Winston Churchill spent, almost all, his childhood in boarding schools. Winston’s parents frequently never wrote to him even though he wrote plenty of letters to them. Also his teachers complained about him not putting enough effort into his work, and that he was a naughty, lazy little child. Being a Prime Minister during a World War means you would need some seriously strong determination.

EXPERIENCE & STRATEGIES Winston Churchill fought in the Boer war during He was 20 years old when he joined the army, and in his war career he picked up some cunning strategies. These strategies might have been used to win World War 2.

After Winston was in the war he then went on to be a war reporter, and a Tory MP. He was also an artist, so he was well known by the time he was Prime Minister. As a result many people believed in him, and that he could win the war!
