All the proceeds from this event will benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation “Ride For Kids”, which will help to find a cure and also help those children that have been stricken by this deadly form of Brain Cancer.

Facts About Pediatric Brain Tumors 28,000 children in the U.S. are living with the diagnosis of a primary brain tumor. Each year 3,700 more children (that’s 10 per day) are diagnosed with pediatric brain tumors – in the U.S alone! 76 % of the children diagnosed with brain tumors are younger than 15 years old. Brain tumors are the deadliest form of childhood cancer.

Additional Facts There are 130 different types of brain tumors, making diagnosis and treatment very difficult. Children’s brain tumors require specific research and different treatments. Brain tumors are located in children’s control center of thought, emotional and movement, often resulting in long term side effects. Survivors can have physical, learning and emotional challenges that will limit the quality of their lives into adulthood.
