© 2007 IBM Corporation IBM Indonesia 5 Indonesia Needs More Entrepreneurs  Macro economic condition is generally good.  Real sector has not been fully developed.  Unemployment rate increases from year to year 8.10% (2001)  10.26% (2005) of the work force (Survey Tenaga Nasional, 2006)  Poverty rate increases February 2005: million (15.97%) March 2006: million (17.75%)  SMB entrepreneurs play a vital role in developing the business world in Indonesia.  Around two million entrepreneurs are needed by 2020 if Indonesia wants to excel – lowering the unemployment rate.
