goes

It is Halloween night and the entire neighborhood is covered in decorations. There are ghosts and jack-o- lanterns everywhere.

Kids are dressed up as ghosts, superheroes, princesses, and many other things.

Kate looks out the window and sees everyone trick-or-treating. She also sees that they are getting candy. Kate loves candy, so she decided to go trick-or- treating, too.

First, I need a costume!

Kate gets a sheet off of her bed and cuts holes in it for the eyes.

I’ll go as a ghost!

Once Kate has her costume, she grabs a bucket and goes to Mrs. Jay”s house.

Trick- or- Treat

Kate rings the doorbell and Mrs. Jay opens the door.

Trick-or- treat!

Mrs. Jay smiles and says,”What a Cute Costume! Why don’t I give you a big piece of candy.”

Thank you Mrs.Jay!

Kate decided to eat the candy right away. So she goes to More houses and gets more candy. Pretty soon Kate starts feeling sick from all of the candy she eats.

Owww !

Kate goes home and tells her mom she doesn’t feel well. Kate’s mom tells her to go lie down in bed.

The next day, Kate's mom comes in and takes her temperature. “Still warm,” she says, “you’ll have to stay home today.” “But I’ll miss Molly’s birthday party!” Kate complains. “You’re friends will tell you about it at school tomorrow,” says Kate’s mom.

Later that say, Kate hears the doorbell ring. Ding- dong!

All of Kate’s friends come in her room. “What are you guys doing her?”Kate asks.

Molly says, “We heard you were sick and decided to bring the party to you.”

“Thanks you guys! You are the best friends ever!’ says Kate. So they had the party in Kate’s bedroom and it was the best birthday party ever.
