The origin of the Halloween: Halloween is celebrated in October 31th. Halloween’s traditional activities include trick-or-treating, bonfires, costumes ´parties and carving jack-o-lanterns. Halloween has its origins in the ancient Celtic festival known as Samhain. The activity is popular in a lot of countries. The Halloween items are: Trick-or-treating: doces ou travessuras. Bonfires: fogueiras. Carving: esculpindo.

Pumpkins: The most recognizable symbol of Halloween is a pumpkin carved into a jack-o-lantern. It was the start of the sundown on November 1 st. On this magical night, glowing jack-o-lanterns were carved and put at home for deceased loved ones and for the protection against malevolent spirits.
