The story of The Buri and the Marrow An old woman is on her way to see her daughter and encounters several animals (fox, lion and tiger) who all want to eat her. She manages to escape and reaches her daughter’s house where she has a huge meal. They then decide to hide her in a large marrow so that she can roll back home without being discovered. She gets past the lion and the tiger but the clever fox works the trick out. Just as he is about to eat the old woman her own two dogs come to rescue her.
