JumpStart HIGH SCHOOL

What is JumpStart? The Neptune High School JumpStart Academies offer the prospective students an opportunity to explore academic and career opportunities while enrolled in the traditional high school program.

Students accepted into the JumpStart Academies are exposed to a unique curriculum that blends a variety of real-life and academic experiences that engage the students in specific career paths. Students entering the program will shadow professionals in a real-world, authentic setting. What is JumpStart?

The JumpStart Academy programs are for credit course offerings that will require a commitment on behalf of the students and the students' family. A dress code will be enforced for all shadowing experiences. What is JumpStart?

Attendance at lectures, shadowing experiences, and seminars is mandatory. Summer, before and after school, and evening programs are available for students completing the academy requirements. What is JumpStart?

The schedule, while flexible, will require the students to monitor their progress along with the specific Academy's coordinator. What is JumpStart?

Each Academy has developed partnerships with private, community, county, and state resources; businesses, and college/university programs. These resources provide the real-world settings that make the programs and the learning experiences authentic. What is JumpStart?
