Presentation transcript:

What’s the Occasion? You’re invited to a surprise birthday party for Sandy Sykes! Hard to believe but she is approaching the BIG 50! She has spent more than half of those years with me, so I think she deserves a party! And don’t forget, it’s a SURPRISE!

So When’s the Party? Saturday, August 18 th Miami Township Hall in Cleves, OH Time: 6:00 – 9:30 pm Please plan to arrive between 6:00 and 6:20 pm. I will bring Sandy at 6:30 pm. And don’t forget, it’s a SURPRISE!

Will There Be Food? Great question! Fried chicken, birthday cake and drinks will be provided. I would like for you to bring a dish to share, like a salad, potato, vegetable, appetizer or something like that. … and I think I mentioned this before but it is a surprise, so don’t mention it to anyone, especially you know who!

Should I Bring a Gift? Another good question! No, you don’t need to bring a gift. Just a dish to share would be great! and one more thing, a story to share! Hang on, more details on next slide!

A Story to Share? Yes, after dinner we’ll have a time where folks can take a couple of minutes to share either a funny, embarrassing or touching story about Sandy’s life. I’ll leave the details up to you. Be creative! Also, if you have a picture, movie clip or some type of media that would help with your story, please it to me. We’ll try and accommodate you.

Do I Have to Share a Story? Well no, but it would be nice! Don’t knock yourself out! Just a fond memory you have of her would be great! Something embarrassing would even be better! Again, be creative and this should be a fun time!

What If I Can’t Come? Sorry to hear that! However if you can’t make it and would like to send a card, please do so! Please send cards to Karen Adams / 2449 Dorian Drive / Cincinnati, OH Please write SURPRISE on the back of the envelope. Try and have them in the mail no later than August 13 th.

Are Children Invited? Sure! You may not have children but if you do, bring them along! Make sure everyone coming knows it’s a SURPRISE!

Anything Else To Bring? If you have any old (or new) pictures you can , that would be great! I’ve asked the boys to assist with putting together a slide show. When you them, just indicate if they are for the slide show or your story.

Do I Need to RSVP? Yes, if you don’t mind. Please do so via by August 12th! Do not call our home or send anything in the mail about the party to our home because I think you know this but it’s a SURPRISE! Please me how many will be attending and what you think you might bring in the way of food.

Still Got Questions? My address is If you need to call me, please call me at work at (859) If you get my voic , leave a message and I’ll try to get right back to you. I really hope you can come!
