Development and support of innovativeness and creativity of the students by offering interdisciplinary education and special courses focusing on the development of innovation-related skills. Strong industrial orientation of the studies, focused on pulp and paper, fine chemicals and metallurgical industries. The programme is supported by lecturers working in above-mentioned industries, as well as by design courses supervised by practitioners. Solid scientific background of education as the main topics of the curriculum correspond to the main research fields of the Department. Internationalisation of the studies ensured by the participation of the international lecturers from leading European universities.
