The daily life of a slave in ancient Rome By: Robert M. Evan B.

Slaves produced the food and materials that the cities depended on. They also looked after cattle and other livestock.

Slaves on business They were involved in shops and business too. While the slaves focused on running the shops, the master tried to expand their business.

Slaves on public buildings The most famous tasks were working on aqueduct systems, building buildings, and building bath houses.

First, a slave would get up and eat some bread. Then, the slave would go to a mine, or do some other kind of labor. After working from sunrise to sunset, they would go back to sleep. This cycle will continue for a long, long time.

Slaves provide everything that the Romans need.
