 SQL Server 2008 or newer (preferably 2012)  Conversion routine will move your current data to SQL Server  $2,995 upcharge to move to SQL Server  Note: no charge if you stay with VFP tables  No longer have a 2 GB limit on table sizes  Secure, Quick, and advanced Backups  Ask your IT if they already have a server that is ready for SQL Server

 Quicker  Using remote views of data as opposed to manipulating the underlying table  Buffering is now handled differently  ActiveX Calendar replaced  New Features!

 Displaced Features  Archive  Quickie (Speed Registration Entry)  Utilityw (functionality replaced in SM8)  Deletion is now permanent with SQL Server!  Custom programming may or may not be compatible with SM8. Check with your tech before doing the upgrade.  There may be a custom programming charge to convert, but we will talk about that on a case by case basis.

 DEMO TIME  Search (slices, dices, and sorts! resizes as well)  Favorite Reports (longer report name field)  Fee Specific Memberships  Mass Combine Names (with ID, name, address, info)  Credentials tab makeover (with type specific fields)  Room Use builder using hours, start date, and days of the week  Date Picker on Queries  Holiday add in a range (i.e. Thanksgiving week)  *Special button on Name record creates Instructor record  User Defined display on the Register Screen  Longer name fields  And more to come! Unlimited User Defined Fields (coming June-ish)

 Looking at the week of 5/5/2014 for SM8  ACEweb 3.5 (non-SQL Server version) also ready the week of 5/5/2014  ACEweb 4 (SQL Server version) is NOT ready, currently estimating 7/1/2014  Watch for my forum post for a full list of features
