One More Night With the Frogs Text: Exodus 8:1-14

The Plague of Frogs and Pharaoh Joshua Welch 20122

Plague of Frogs and Pharaoh The Lord says to Pharaoh, –“Let My people go, that they may serve Me. But if you refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all your territory with frogs” (Exodus 8:1-2). Pharaoh refuses and the frogs come (8:3-7)! Pharaoh calls for Moses and says, –“Entreat the Lord that He may take away the frogs from me and…my people; and I will let the people go…” (8:8). Moses replies to Pharaoh, –“Accept the honor of saying when I shall intercede for you, for your servants, and for your people, to destroy the frogs from you and your houses, that they may remain in the river only” (8:9). Pharaoh’s answer? –“Tomorrow” (8:10). Joshua Welch 20123
