Now, almost every student has a mobile phone. And of course these children carry phones to school. But what for do students have mobile phones at school?

Pluses and minuses of using mobile phones in school is a popular topic for discussion nowadays. I have asked my schoolmates some questions to know the reasons for bringing mobiles to school.

 Emergency situation If emergency situation occurred, you can always contact your parents. In addition, the parents themselves may call their child if needed.

 Security Suddenly, if it is necessary to call an ambulance or the police, the mobile phone will help do it quickly.

 Phone tools Mobile phones have useful applications: a calculator, a camera and Internet. These applications can be very helpful in class. For example, with the help of your mobile you can take a picture of the necessary information on the blackboard.

– Distraction Mobiles can be a serious distraction in the classroom. It is impossible for teachers and students to focus on classwork if phones are constantly ringing. Moreover students can’t work hard if they are sending text messages or playing games.

– Bad using Mobile phone at school can become a powerful weapon against the teachers. Instead of using it in emergency situations, some students may take photos of their teachers or shoot videos in the class and then put the information in the Internet to ridicule.

– Cheating Students can go online to get answers to any questions on tests and as a result they can fail the USE.

– Social problems Sometimes only the rich kids have exclusive and expensive mobile phones. It can lead to a lot of social problems, such as hierarchy in class, jealousy, fights, theft.

Thank you for attention
