 UCA STEM Institute aspires to be the premier institute for development, use and promotion of research- proven pedagogies and rigorous content in P-16 STEM education in Arkansas and to be recognized as a leader in this area nationally. Mission and Vision

 The Institute provides “high quality,” innovative STEM educational opportunities through  Developing partnerships,  Professional development,  Education research,  K-12 outreach, and  Sharing of instructional resources. Services

  UCA STEM Institute has been at the forefront of enhancing science, technology, engineering and mathematics education for the region’s k-12 teachers and students.  Teachers - Offered more than 17 math and science sessions  Common core mathematics, next generation science standards and advanced placement biology  Students – Free ACT prep classes and one –week enrichment programs Pre- and In-Service Teachers

  Tour of the resources for math and science  books – science and math literacy, information text, and teacher’s guides  kits, materials, tools and technology  Access to teaching resources  Assist in developing a lesson plan for class projects.  Assist in designing kits to model lessons for internship  Post-induction support Pre-Service students
