We will also not be: I talk You listen We leave I am simply not that interesting

HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR TIME? honestly… what takes up your days?

What are… Priorities for your office? Actual tasks that take up your time (in order of most consuming to least)? The things you do that cause you to wonder… “why on earth must I do this when____?”

What are? Your concerns regarding “policy?” Your concerns regarding “practice?” The areas of confusion, or lack of clarity, that create wonder in your mind?

What’s buggin’ you? About your office? About your campus? About laws and regulations? About resources? About students, parents, faculty, other departments?

SO, WHOSE FAULT IS IT ANYWAY? Ummm… let’s place blame (sometimes being a 4 th grader is fun!)

But in all seriousness… how the time is spent… examine our frustrations… examine ‘what’s buggin’ us…

A DISCREPANCY ME THINKS let’s look at this.

first Oh goodness, I don’t know about you, but I could use a quick stretch

BACK TO BLAME AND DISCREPANCIES

Is it about focus?

Attention follows intention

What is the mission of your office? It is the mission of Disability Services for students with disabilities to have equal access to learning at ____. Believing that students with disabilities can better advocate for their own needs with greater success, we strive to empower students at every step.

Or… The mission of Disability Resources is to lead the campus community in the creation of inclusive learning and working environments and facilitate access, discourse, and involvement through innovative services, programs and partnerships.
