LITTER

 The Typical American throws away about five pounds of trash a day.

GARBAGE  That adds up to about 200 million tonnes of America garbage a year

After you set your garbage can out on the curb, most of our garbage is incinerated or burned in landfills. Less then a quarter of our waste is recycled. Facts

If we never throw away our garbage are planet would be dirty.

LITTER  At one time New York City used the ocean for its dump. It loaded its waste on a flat boat called a barge. Often the garbage floats back where people were swimming.

 The whole school will help us pick up garbage and save Mother Earth.

PICK up Garbage  Please start our pick up garbage club and save mother earth.

We will know our plan worked because the school will be clean.
