 2007 Success in Brazil  Bétim as model, Porto Alegre, Salvador, São Paulo, Volta Redonda cooperate  Strategic partnerships established, with State Prefecture, Electric and Housing Companies  Porto Alegre: legislation to promote solar heating in public buildings  São Paulo: bill of law to the city council to foster use of solar water heating in new large scale housing and public buildings  Volta Redonda: interdepartmental commission to foster EE and RE initiatives
