iPlant Data Commons leverages all elements of our CI to enhance data management, discoverability, and reuse

Data Commons A data publication platform – with features to enhance data sharing, discoverability and reuse – with data management/curation functions – to prepare data for ingest to canonical repositories and or at iPLANT Integration of information/metadata from other iPLANT platforms

Data Commons components: existing CI elements (DE, Atmo, Data Store) metadata “workflow” – automated and manual metadata entry cross-platform project and specimen frameworks enhanced browse and search capabilities federation with external data sources
