Presentation on How Agiotensin II receptors response to high blood pressure in human systems. by Zainab A Sani (A )

My hypothesis Angoitesin II receptors can be use to control high blood pressure. How its works? This antihypertensive drugs (agiotensin) act in the body by blocking the effect of hormone secreted in our body known as angiotensin II hence creating a pathway for blood to circulate in our system

My design Agiotensin II receptors blend with agiotensin converting enzymes inhibitors can terminate the reactions of angiotensin II which causes vast muscular constrictions that prevent bloods from circulating through the body. However, the used of agiotensin II receptors blend with agiotensin converting enzymes inhibitors to terminate the reactions of angiotensin II which causes vast muscular constrictions that prevent bloods from circulating through the body According to Dahl LK, 2003, chronic ingestion of excess salt produces hypertension in rats, which mimics human hypertension morphologically. High salt intake can result to hypertension in rats, rabbits. This can be achieved by adding 1-2% sodium chloride in thier drinking water for about 3-9 months

Drug Mechanism Chemically bind together to form Agiotensin II Agiotensin II receptor blockers +

Specimen I has (165mmHg) Specimen II has (175mmHg) Specimen III has (185mmHg) SpecimenSpecimen ISpecimen IISpecimen III Taking ARB Drug dose50mg once daily60mg once daily70mg once daily Expected drop in BP120mmHg130mmHg140mmHg This species has high blood pressure as a result of high salt intake and the above time shows how we can use Angiotensin II receptors to cure the problem

Specimen I has (170mmHg) specimen II has (190mmHg) Specimen III has (180mmHg SpecimenSpecimen ISpecimen IISpecimen III Weight120g250g200g Taking ARBS drug dose40mg once daily75mg once daily55mg once daily Expected drop in BP/Weight110g/ 135mmHg230g/150mmHg180g/155mmHg Above shows another different rat species that have high Bp as a result of high cholesterol accumulations over a period of time. I want to test how this species can response to antihypertensive drug (angiotensin II receptors blockers) to cure the problem

Feasibility Both chronic and non chronic high BP patients can use this drug as a cure to his disease. It readily cheap and can be supplied easily as compared to other types of antihypertensive drugs.

Advantages of using Agiotensin II receptors blockers (ARB) and ACE inhibitors ARBs can lower the risk of death. ARBs also reduce the number of people with heart failure who need to go into the hospital for treatment. For people with type 2 diabetes, ARBs reduce the amount of protein in their urine and protect the kidneys from diabetic nephropathy. My observations after taking angiotensin II receptor with blend ACE drugs, it will lead to 4-5% drop of BP each time the drug is admisttered per day

Disadvantages of using Agiotensin II receptors blockers (ARB) and ACE inhibitors The body has high risk of performing Side reactions after taking in Agiotensin II receptors blockers (ARB) and ACE inhibitors. This can cause prolong brain damage, cardiac disease one side body paralyses and could also lead to dead if measure precautions are not consider before taking in the antihypertensive drugs. Also, if you take an ARB with an ACE inhibitor, without close monitor from doctors you may have a higher risk of kidney problems and increase in potassium levels too

Precautions before taking the drug Do not use ARB drugs if you are pregnant or nursing other alternative should be suggested by expert doctors such as food factors that aid in lowering high Bp. People who have kidney disease, liver disease, low blood volume, or low salt in their blood should talk to their doctor before taking in these drugs because of the risk one could be expose to. People taking diuretics (water pills) should also see doctors for better alternative drugs.

Other Alternative methods to cure high BP More research is necessary to compare other classes of anti-hypertensive that has less risk as compare to ARB. Regular exercises are another good alternative that help to burns excess fats which block the blood veins. Some nutritional factors must be considered such as eating food that has low salt content. Consistency in taking natural fresh fruits and vegetable aids in metabolisms and can leads to excess burning of fats that constrict the blood veins.

Conclusions I strongly suggest the use of Agiotensin II receptors to cure high blood pressure, base on my animal model, it demonstrate how high blood pressure response to antihypertensive drugs (ARBS). These animal models are also used for testing new chemical entities. Similarly ARBS is use for curing essential hypertension and its complications as is been tested by my animal model. The main animal model of hypertension use in this my proposal is rat because of its reliable spontaneous development not only to hypertension but also to other hypertensive complications that is been caused by the body. I strongly advice that researchers should develop new models that can incorporate recent advances in pathophysiology of hypertension and can accelerate the research in understanding that develop new therapeutic agents for hypertension.
