Did you know that a tiger beetle can be brown? A tiger beetle looks like a green or brown beetle with two yellow and red spots on the middle of it’s back. Like all insects a tiger beetle has 3 parts and 6 legs. They have long sickle shared jaws, long legs, and large eyes. Lets go to see what a tiger beetle eat.

What does a tiger beetle eat? Did you know that adult tiger beetles mostly hunt in the day? A tiger beetle eats passing insects which they grab with their powerful jaws. They have behind hooks or pincers to catch pray. All of this food is making me hungry so lets go see what a tiger beetle does.

What does a tiger beetle do? Did you know that an adult tiger beetle is almost impossible to catch? Adults are not active in the day time. Most species rest at night hiding in a safe place like a notebook. That is a nice hiding place. Maybe it hides in it’s home, so lets find out where it lives.
